All Jacked Up started in the Fall of 2009 when a group of like-minded musicians got together to share their similar interest in the best music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. Artists that heavily influence All Jacked Up include: Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, Journey, Lady Antebellum, The Black Crowes, Wilson Pickett, Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Guns & Roses, Eddie Money, Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Melissa Etheridge, and ZZ Top (Just to name a few!)

A.J.U. have played at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, the Americana Festival in Centerville, and the Holiday at Home Festival in Kettering. We have also played in some of the Miami Valley's best clubs, including:

MEET THE BAND

Laura on Lead VocalsLAURA STAHL - Growing up, Laura had many musical influences. As a little girl she loved listening to her dad play bluegrass music (and still does!). She and her mom loved singing along with George Jones and Loretta Lynn records. And her big brother entertained her imitating Elvis and the Beatles. Laura learned to love and appreciate all kinds of music.

At 17, a friend convinced her to audition for the popular local band "The Mary Jane Band" as a back-up vocalist. She got the job and from then on she was hooked! She had the knack for harmony and sang backup for Mary Jane Price who Laura refers to as one of her mentors.

Then in the early 80's she recorded High Energy Dance music as Lauren Grey. She toured coast to coast singing in dance clubs. Several of her recordings actually charted on the Billboard Dance Chart! During that period she hooked up with one of her now lifelong friends and mentors Leah Landis. Laura later joined Leah in the very successful local band Johnny Favorite who's members included some of the original members of The Lovers. Johnny Favorite even once performed at the famed Roxy on the sunset strip in LA .

Then life happened…she got married and had two wonderful children and put music on the backburner for a few years. Kids now all grown, she is excited to be back on stage with the talented musicians of All Jacked Up entertaining enthusiastic crowds in southwestern Ohio!

Scott on DrumsSCOTT PLACKE - Scott's first influence of becoming a drummer was at the age of 7 when he heard Ringo Starr on the Ed Sullivan Show. He knew then that this was a passion that made him smile.

Scott has been playing professionally for nearly 30 years and while living in Colorado he opened for various National Acts such as Molley Hatchet, Marshall Tucker & Lou Diamond Phillips.

After moving back to Dayton, Scott played with other local bands like the Termites and High Five, before forming the All Jacked-UP Band.

His strong vocals and hard hitting attacks on the drums will have you up dancing and feeling the groove of every song and performance.

Dan on Lead GuitarDAN BARTOSIK - Dan plays one mean lead guitar! What more is there to know?

Mike on KeysMIKE STEIN - At an early age, Mike's parents got him a set of drums one year for Christmas. He broke the heads the next day from hitting them too hard! They decided to get him something else, a guitar. He also took piano lessons when he was 9. After seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, it was now time to concentrate on the guitar. Mike's dad had a large record collection & started to introduce him to all kinds of music. The love for music continued to grow.

Mike played in garage bands through high school at various local events and private parties. A few years later, he traveled in a show band and played all over the country for 3 years. After returning home to Dayton, he played in the local band Sunrise for 4 years at a club called Little Abners in Huber Heights. For the next 10 years he played with several local bands, Six Pack, County Line Express, and Night Moves.

Then it was time to put music on hold for a while to spend more time with his wife and son. Mike has recently decided to return to playing music and is enjoying meeting new people and friends, and seeing friends he has met through the years once again.

Mark on BassMARK BIANCHI - Mark was born and raised in Piqua, Ohio. His first memories of music were playing old Johnny Cash records on his "Close-N-Play" record player!

Mark's infatuation with music lead him to a career in radio. Mark has worked for some of the best radio stations in the area including 104.7 WTUE, MIX 107.7, K99.1, 1290 WHIO, 102.7 WEBN, and 700WLW.

Mark started playing bass shortly after high school in a few garage bands but soon put the guitar down to raise a family with his wife, Deborah, in Bellbrook. He picked the guitar back up in 2002 and has since played with several local groups including: My Liquid Courage, Something Random, Shadowlife, and The Nick Cardilino Band (where he got to play on stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland!)
